What is an epoxy protective coating?

Epoxy is a protective coating that acts as a highly durable, resistant sealant for floors, walls, benchtops, ceilings and other surfaces. It helps protect against spills, stains, water damage, chemicals, extreme temperatures, impact and general wear and tear.

Epoxy protective coatings can be added to new or existing surfaces. As well as being used in our bathroom and wet area waterproofing process, Epoxy protective coatings can be used on:

• Garage floors
• Workshop floors
• Swimming pools
• Water features
• Internal lifts
• Basement walls

Epoxy membranes have excellent adhesion to their substrates and can be used on a wide variety of damp surfaces.

Benefits of epoxy protective coatings

As an affordable service that can save you large unforeseen costs in the long run, epoxy protective coatings offer many benefits, including:

• Surfaces treated with epoxy protective coatings are highly durable and able to resist wear and tear
• Epoxy treated surfaces are easy to clean, as the surface becomes non-porous and resistant to spills and stains
• Epoxy coatings are chemical resistant, which is especially beneficial in workshops or commercial properties with frequent exposure to chemicals
• Epoxy protective coatings are resistant to fire, slipping, impact and extreme temperatures, ensuring the safety of your family and employees
• You can customise your surface design to suit your preferred style, as epoxy coatings come in a range of colours and patterns
• Epoxy protective coatings are a better choice for the environment due to the reduction in material use
